Instant Pickleball Court Estimate

Get an immediate, transparent new-court planning range based on area, then add your own project allowances. No email required.

01 Your court project

New construction uses a published area benchmark. Repairs and conversions need condition-based pricing.

Use the total playing surface, including runoff. Amenities and property setbacks need additional space.

02 Build out your scope

Select planned extras. Enter an allowance only when you have a figure; a blank amount stays “quote required.” Confirm what the base proposal includes to avoid counting work twice.

Applied to the calculated subtotal only. This is your planning reserve, not a prediction of unknown work.

03 Note your site conditions

These notes appear in your download. They do not apply an invented price multiplier.

Choose your project and playing-surface dimensions to see a preliminary construction range. Add allowances you already know for site work, fences, lighting or other extras. Your result shows the arithmetic and the unanswered scope questions, and you can download it without entering an email address.

Where the estimate comes from

SportMaster’s published court-cost FAQ provides a broad construction benchmark of $11–$22 per square foot. We multiply that range by the total playing-surface area you enter. The source has no confirmed publication date and does not establish a Kansas City average or identify a complete set of inclusions. Reviewed September 19, 2026. Read the pricing reference

The calculated base is a benchmark, not an itemized contractor proposal. It does not resolve grading, unsuitable soil, drainage, retaining walls, engineering, permits, equipment, taxes, fencing, electrical service or lighting. Confirm the source scope before adding allowances so the same item is not counted twice. A contingency is a separate visitor-entered planning choice, not a predicted cost.

What changes the actual price?

Site access, slope, soil conditions, base design, surface system, utility distance, repair requirements and permit conditions can change a proposal. Multi-court projects need a coordinated layout and may have different unit economics. This tool applies the same published rate across entered area and does not predict bulk discounts or a premium for a specific surface type.

For resurfacing and conversion, the existing court’s condition drives the scope. We do not apply the new-build benchmark to those projects. Use the allowance fields to organize known figures and take the quote comparison worksheet to the site review.

Make the estimate useful for your next step

Check the space planner, read the cost guide and identify the local approval route. Save the result with its assumptions. It is not submitted to an installer, does not reserve a construction date and is not a binding offer.
